Levels 1 and 2
Taught in one evening!
This course fulfills either the Monroe County Health Department Level 1 (Food Handler in Charge) and Level 2 (Food Service Worker) training requirements.
Note: L1 and L2 are taught together with a different exam at end of class.
Level I & Level 1 re-certification participants will take the same national exam
Level II & Level II re-certification participants will take the same instructor’s local exam.
Topics include proper personal hygiene, protecting food during receiving, storage, preparation and serving, cleaning and sanitizing, pest control in commercial kitchens and regulatory preparedness. Peter Castronovo has over 35 years of food safety/sanitation practical experience overseeing the food service industry. His teaching methods makes it interesting as well as educational.

Level I $155.00 (5 Year Certification) Level II$115.00 (3 Year Certification) *Level I$135.00 (5 year Recertification)
*Level II $85.00 (3 Year Recertification)
Payment is due the night of the class. A minimum of 5 students is required or the class is subject to cancel and you will be notified in advance.
* To be considered a recertification your certificate must not be expired.
